Newby here. When I first set up my move project I selected “menu based”,but found I was not ready to begin exploring how to do menus at this time and decided to burn a DVD on DVDA with just a single long playing movie.
When I try to “prepare” it, it says my menu exceeds 1 gb and I cannot ignore (bypass) this warning and move ahead.
Is there a quick way to Un-menu-base this project so that I can just burn it as is?

Sounds like you put the entire movie as the menu background. Therefore your menu is exceeding 1 Gig.

Your simplest solution would be to do: File – New – Single Movie – and then pick the video file you added to the menu background. As soon as you’re to that point, just click on Make DVD, follow the prompts, and you’re done.
