To those of you who purchased NewBlue Stabilizer through Sony on the current special: Thank you. However, it has come to our attention that the download link Sony had provided was to an older version of the plugin. While this has been updated, I do request that you do the following:

    1. Reboot (this makes sure Vegas will not remain running in memory)
    2. Uninstall Stabilzer
    3. Reinstall Stabilizer from this link
    https://www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Windows/NewBlueStabilizerForWindowsSetup14.exe

When installing, there are five Sony Vegas options. Please uncheck them all and then check the one option you need based on this chart:

Sony Vegas Movie Studio: Use this option if you are usingVegas Movie Studio 10 or older

Sony Vegas: Use this option if you are using the 32-bit version of Vegas Pro 9 or older

Sony Vegas 64-bit: Use this option if you are using the 64-bit version of Vegas Pro 9 or older

Sony Vegas 10/11 OpenFX: Use this option if you are using the 32-bit version of Vegas Pro 10, Vegas Pro 11, Movie Studio 11, or Movie Studio 12

Sony Vegas 10/11 OpenFX: Use this option if you are using the 64-bit version of Vegas Pro 10, Vegas Pro 11, Vegas Pro 12, or Movie Studio 12

That’s a good first suggestion to let Vegas reboot, because that’s
a bit of an annoying issue Vegas has, by remain running in memory
    after its closed.

And that’s exactly why I listed “reboot” as the first step – to make sure Vegas is out of memory.

Vegas has a memory allocation problem on some systems for
    a very long time.

Edward – I take it that the issue doesn’t arise if purchased via a promo from NewBlue direct?

That would be correct. The file on our website was/is the current version. In fact, a newer update was just placed on our website today!

Wondering same time if any added feature/s are in the works for
future developement of ColorFast…. Its a very versatile
    color grader that surprised me.

Steve, we’d certainly love to hear more about what you’d like to see added to ColorFast.

First thing that would be great is a real film Grain emulation/overlay feature and a Overall Blending slider,
one that can tone down the overall intensity of a preset. And
last and very important (and would probably be the most difficult to implement) an effective De-interlacing filter feature, that would tone down the harsh edges of Digital Video
to give a more organic and filmic look.

lol…. I know these requests are probably a tall order, but they would
certainly put Colorfast far above that of MB Looks and FilmConvert, etc.
