newbie with format question “Up-Conversion to ProRes 422 1080p24”?
I’ll try to maker this brief. I am not a creative professional (or amateur). I am purchasing copies of some old hockey games so I can watch them (personal use only). The company is prepared to send me files (8 files, totaling 800gb). I can get them in any format… mostly I just want to be able to play on a computer (stream to TV?) or create a DVD I can play. All I have at home is a macbook with iMovie. I’m in the US (so I guess NTSC, not PAL). I would like to retain the highest quality file possible. Can you please help me figure out what format I need? Many thanks.
