Newbie White Balance Question
I recently installed Resolve and I’m slowly getting to grips with it.
I’ve got two clips of the same performance, shot on Canon DSLRs, one with the correct Tungsten balance, one unfortunately shot set on Cloudy white balance.
I want to match the cloudy one to the tungsten one.
Is it possible to display the two clips side by side with scopes, to make this easier? Only need to display the tungsten one, but need to set it on a certain frame, and I need to be able to use the grading tools on the cloudy clip, while set on a specific frame.
Possible?

just grab a still of the desired frame, go to another clip, and play the still.

Yes, that definitely possible, but you’ll have to either purchase one of the many terrific tutorials available (I recommend Ripple Training), or download on of the many free offerings on YouTube.

Because the time-honoured method is a split screen, you do only get one set of wfm/vector displays, with the traces more-or less superimposed on each other. In a way this is superior as you will be able to see how the values overlap directly. It may be confusing to someone who has never used this approach – to sort out what noiseball represents what values, but moving them around with the grade controls can eventually become intuitive, like any aiming system.

OK, got the split screen working. I can scrub through the left hand clip, but how do I scrub through the right hand one? I need to set both clips to frames that are similar to do the colour matching.
