    Newbie wants to get started with pro I/O

    Hi pros,

    I’m a relative newby to professional post. Thus far, I have only output to tape and exported QT movies from Mini-DV, HDV and DSLR. Can you direct me to tutorial resources that discuss the ins and outs of professional I/O cards? I need info on concepts, terminology, external monitoring, and how to install and use of a professional I/O card (pretty much everything to get a newbie started). Advice and links are much appreciated.

    You are asking a lot of questions that would take a very lengthy response. Your best option to educate yourself is to visit AJA’s website and read the specs and manuals on their Kona and I/O products.
