i’ve recently migrated to the dark side from FCP, edited a pilot show on Premiere, and it looks like i’ve made a great switch, but now seriously time to upgrade my machine short of buying a new one. here’s what i have:

    Mac Pro early 2009
    2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    6 GB RAM (i believe it’s upgradable to 16)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512 MB

i have virtually ZERO free RAM in my activity monitor, so i know that needs to be cranked up, but in addition to that, which graphics card would you recommend?

    Thanks!

[Alex Gerulaitis] “GeForce GTX-680 Mac Edition”

Seconded. Worth the cost, excellent graphics card.
