I have tried, and unfortunately I don’t know much about Invigorator or Illustrator, but how do I get a Illustrator text file with vectors so that I can import them into Invigorator. I have tried saving the files as AI8 files but Invigorator still says they are not valid files.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

You first must Convert the AI file to Outlines. Select the text (or shape) then go to ‘Type’ in the toolbar and then Convert to Outlines. Save the file as a an AI file. In Invig, select the option you want (Open an Illustrator File). A pop up window will open. You point to the file and it will be transferred and converted from Outlines to a 3D object. You don’t manually bring the file in. Let the program find it and import it. From there, it’s all you. Tweak away. I hope that helps and is clear enough.

Glad you got it to work. It is a very cool app. You may want to scan the book and browse some of the tutorials. I dont use it for everything but I can always find some use for it in my projects.
