    Hi Everyone.

I am an independent videographer w/ 15+ years experience including
    both tape and non-linear editing.

I am new to Macs and FCP. I’m running FCP on a PB G4, 1.67Ghz, 512M
Ram. Using a LaCie Firewire 80 gig drive for scratch and file storage. Audio is not
rendering smoothly. Short dropouts occur every second or so. I know I need RAM, but this seems
    like something else to me.

I rendered a QT movie and posted it on my website. If you can help go to
    https://www.twolegsproductions.com/QT/Smooth Music.mov” and take a listen.

    Thanks!
