    Hey,

I got a JVC Tm-H150CG Sd monitor that i want to connect to my intensity pro card.
I got a input card(sdi, component, video input)

I can only input with component, witch is fine.

    I got the cables.
But where oh where do i need to connect the cables.
I connected the red, green, bleu to inputs. and same with the component thingy cable from my intensity pro card.

In final cut pro, i put my easy setup to Intensity PAl DV.

But i got no signal at all.

I restarted final cut pro several times.
Set to all frames, refresh etc…

if someone has this monitor or had several problems with connecting a monitor to the intensity pro card, please help me on this.

    Using Fcp 6.1
    Mac Pro, 3 gigs Ram

    Hey there,

Just to confim, you’re connecting via component Y,B-y,R-y (the red green and blue ones) to the break out cable of the intensity? If its a monitor make sure you’re connected to the “OUT” connectors rather than the “IN.”

Next, when your logged on if you got to Apple>>System Preferences, and at the bottom under “other” you should see the Intensity icon. Double click to open the properties and you should see two drop downs, one for input, one for output.

This is where you need to tell the Intensity what is connected to it, so under output make sure it is set to include the component out “Y,B-y,R-y” (i havent got a mac in front of me atm to check the exact wording). And if you select video desktop, it should let you see fairly quickly if your getting output to your monitor.

Then when you’re in Final Cut the output should switch to the video/sequence etc that you are working on. You will need to make sure your “easy setup” matches the resolution of the footge you are working with.

    Hope that helps.
