newbie question about hair
I recently bought a toothbrush model and want to animate the bristles (which are currently cylinders grouped within cloner objects). I’d like them to act like stiff bristles that bend slightly when they touch a collider object. However, all of the tutorials I see are how to generate hair from an object and not how to turn an object into hair. Perhaps I’m approaching this all wrong? Please help!

you can’t turn an object into hair but you could replace the bristles with hair (which can render as objects) or do it with dynamics with the bristles that are there already. Check out this thread https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/19/892012#892012
