Newbie question about exporting to tape
Trying to export a FCP project to my miniDV but my computer isn’t interacting with the camera at all. I tried print to video and recording manually, no recognition of firewire connected camera. The sequence plays on screen, but camera doesn’t record. Any suggestions of what I’m doing wrong?

Which camera?
With print to video you need to manually press record on the camera when prompted. And it does prompt you.

Are you able to capture video from your camera with your current set up?
A simple suggestion that may or may not help is to click on view > external video > all frames. Make sure all frames has a check mark next to it.
