    Hi there,

I´m a newbie in fcp´s motion. As a little training I wanted to start wiht a little text animation. Therefore I wanted to make the letters bold. But somehow I´ve no choice in the style-dialog – it only offers “regular”.

What am I doing wrong? I alreadey changed the text-type, but it hadn´t change anything.

A short hint would be nice!!

It could be the font, you may not have a bold version of that font. You make that change in the Typeface section. If regular is the only thing you see then you don’t have a bold version installed on your mac. Hope this helps and best of luck.

    Hi,

thanks for your answer. But I already changed the font-type – doesn´t matter which font I choose (arial, times, …), theres only “regular” – no bold, no cursive – nothing else …

    Thanks againg,
    Tim
