Probobally a daft question but here goes……

I’m using one of the animated text effects in 6.5 (can’t remember the name as I’m away from the computer just now) but I think it was called ‘Code’ different charaters appear and then the correct ones are viewed when the comp plays. Anyway, is there anything within AE that makes a sound as the text characters change i.e. a kind of raid bleeping noise??

    Thanks in advance

    Colin

Bad news. You must create those noises by yourself, and I wouldn’t recommend to do this with(in) AE.
Render your animation to a movie file, and use it as a visual guide to create the audio effects in an audio application which supports video files (Sound Forge, Vegas, etc.)
When you’re done, import the audio back into AE, and you’re done.
