I’ve got 2 weeks to get a 1 minute spot for a local tv channel done. Thanks to your tutorials I have learned quite a bit in the last few days.

I’m using PS CS2, Premiere 1.5 and after effects 6.5 I’m pretty good with photoshop. Premier and after effects are brand new to me. Most of my footage is digital camera pictures that I am animating with movement from multiple layers and orbiting camera angles.

My problem is that many of the images I import from photoshop look really grainy, pixelated and bad all around when I try to animate them. Are there settings that will minimize this? Or should I prepare my images in photoshop in any special way?

My other question is when I export what will be the best file type to give to a local cable TV channel and what would the best export settings be? I plan on burning them to DVD.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Mike

I guess that the first question is did you turn on the antialiasing in after effects?

No, I did not. I guess I will try that and get back to you.

Thanks. Give me a few hours to try it out and see if it makes any difference.

    Thanks

If you are working antialiased have you tried setting the resolution on your PS files for the appropriate setting?

Also, and I’m sorry if you know this already, but make sure that you alter your stuff to broadcast colors, otherwise you could have some issues down the road.
