Newbie edit question
Posted by Ken Wood on August 3, 2007 at 8:03 pmGreetings,
I’m very new to Vegas editing. I need to do something very simple:
Break a 9 minute avi video into two separate videos.

Welcome!
Here is a link to a fine Edward Troxel Tutorial on the very basics of editing in Vegas. I would suggest that you read all of the newsletters at his site and also visit VASST.com tutorial area.
There is a ton of info and how to’s at thier sites.
Happy reading. This link to begginer tutoral

August 9, 2007 at 3:42 pmGreat. Now I can split the clip.
What are the next steps?
How do I save the split clips to separate projects?
I know that these are the real basics but I have not been able to find help on how to do this.
Thanks in advance.
