  Newbie clarification – FCPX / MOTION 5

  Hi , I think I may have posted this in the wrong part of the forum, sorry.
  I am trying to get a feel of things before I take a dip into all things FCPX / MOTION5 and movie editing in general. There is one question lingering at the back of my mind is will I be able to edit for instance a 640×480 ( 4:3 ) video which has been downloaded from youtube, with the owners permission, such that I am able to include HD (resolution) Transitions/Generators/Titles etc purchased from a third party, if not what is the lowest resolution/aspect ratio that I can edit. And will I be able to do the same with a footage taken from iPhone or an iPad or any other smart phone – thanking in advance, Nas.
