Newbie: bumpy bumps
For some reason, my bump maps (bumped text) arent real smooth around the edges… there seems to be some noise. I looked for a noise checkbox but didn’t see one. Also, I usually blur my bumps a bit in Photoshop… Should I leave them unblurred and blur them in Cinema’s Bump settings? (I tried it both ways, but they’re still bumpy).

Most likely these are simply antialiasing problems. Have you tried some of the more Advanced algorithms like Sinc? Also in that case increase the number of minimum samples.
