Newbie 4K workflow
All I am not completely a newbie to Avid but for 4K workflow I am. I has just download Media composer 2019.7 and need a little setup help for 3840×2160 @ 59.94 MP4. I would like my final output to 4K but maybe later HD. What are the best to set my timeline?

CPU AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.70 GHz
Memory 32 gb
Hard drives
C: SSD OS and Programs
F: 2 TB Documents and other programs
G: Drobo 6TB photos and videos
H: SSD 500 gb Cache drive
I: RockStor Raid 0 1×4 TB -

Set up a 2180p project (UHD). Edit in that…output that. If you want an HD version, just downconvert your exported UHD master.
Now, depending on how much footage you have, and if you system can manage it, you might need to utilize the offline/online workflow…but maybe not.
