    I have a very limited knowledge of expressions and wanted an explanation of what the numbers mean in the following expression.
    wiggle(3,90,1,1,10+time). I have used wiggle(3,90) in the past with good results. I just wanted to know what the extra 1,1,10+time do.

    Thanks.

    The wiggle parameters are (in this order):

    frequency = wiggles per second.

    amplitude = amount of wiggle.

    octaves = number of octaves of noise to add together – the more octaves, the more complex the wiggle.

    amplitude multiplier = how much the amplitude is multiplied for each successive octave.

    time = base start time – defines where (in time) the animated property is sampled.

    The best thing to do is play around with the parameters and get a feel for what they do.

    Thanks for the explaination. I will take your advice and play around with the settings. Thanks for taking some of the guesswork out of it.

    I’d suggest applying a wiggle expression to a slider control and then turning on the graph in the timeline so you can see effect of changing each parameter.
