    hey guys,

Just started using after effects. Have a bit of background with premier etc.

    heres what im doing.

created an animation in maya and rendered it to avi.
When I import i get the options to
    1) ignore
    2) straight – unmatted
    3) Premultiplied – Matted with color

If I choose 3 the video wont show in composition preview, just a black box. (the video itself will however play as preview)

The only blending mode I get to work is ‘screen’ which takes some of the impact out of the animation.

Just wondering what I should be doing

    Cheers
    V3
