    I just got a dvx100 and am a Autodesk Combustion4 user, not really a camera guy yet. What is the best and cleanest mode(24p/24pA/30p) to shoot in for importing into C4 or any software. I am using Premiere pro to capture…I just want to have non-interlaced footage to use trackers and blue/green screen cleanly. I’m just making a demo reel so output would not really need a film look…I just want clean video to work with.

    Shoot 24p and capture in software that can resolve back to 23.98 native footage. I believe the latest versions of Premiere and Vegas on the PC can do this. Otherwise 30p also is free of interlacing though looks a bit odd IMHO.
