    Hi,
I’m in the US and I’m creating a DVD which will be viewed in New Zealand. Can I just send them an NTSC Region 0 disc to be projected from a computer? Or will I need to have the footage converted to PAL?
    Thanks,
    Slade

It’s a PAL country but most morern PAL DVD players and TV sets can display NTSC DVDs with no problem. Just make sure you set all regions open. I’d suggest sending a check disc to your client to be sure.

Agreed – we have sent many NTSC discs to PAL countries and have a better then 95% success rate. If your user has a 10 year old player, then you should expect a problem. If however, and let’s face it, if the player of choice has been purchased in the past 2 years (90% of players have been sold since the prices dropped to $30/player) — you should be all set.

    Good luck
