New XDCAM HD software for Mac and FCP
I just read the headlines here on the COW and read that Sony released their software – BUT – in true Sony fashion, I couldn’t find it anywhere on the link that was provided in the news release, nor is it listed in its software section of Sony Support. Figures….
If anybody can find this PLEASE let me know!
I’ve been waiting on thsi software for a little more than a year!

“The software will be available free of charge online from https://www.sony.com/xdcamhd and will be demonstrated by both companies during a 12-city tour that begins June 28.”
I searched myself and didn’t find anything then I went back to the article and saw “will be available”. Oh well, at least it’s free.

Yeah, you’re right… I didn’t read the Sony disclaimer – “will be available”.
In true Sony fashion, that could be anytime. LOL
