Hello all I just purchase Vegas 17 Post and it is a little different and I was wondering what is the best my system? First this is my computer setup.
    OS Windows 10
    CPU AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.70 GHz
    Memory 32 gb
    Hard drives
    C:\ SSD OS and Programs
F:\ 2 TB Documents and other programs
G:\ Drobo 6TB This is wereI copy all my photos and videos
H:\ SSD 500 gb is was used as a Cache drive
I:\ RockStor Raid 0 1×4 TB Used to place video files to edit. Fast drive.

    Graphis card: Nvidia 1070 GTX

The files I will be editing will me be mostly MP4 files. This will be 4K or HD with a mix of photos for a short slide show. My question is about defualt settings in Preferences.

    1. Under the General tab: In Preferences Temporary files folder is point to the D:\ drive Is this ok or should I move to another drive?
    2. Video Tab: C:\Program Files \VEGAS \VEGASPRO 17.0\VidCap60.EXE is this okI or should I move to another drive?
    3. Project Properties under Video Tab Prerendered files folder has C:\Users\kmul\AppData\local\VEGAS Pro\17.0\ Is this ok or should I move to another drive?
4, Also Template shows HD 1080-60i (1920×1080), 29.970 fps. I just shot a AirShow today in 4k at 3840×21 59.97 fps and I don’t see in the drop down. Is this just for editing in timeline settings or I will have enter it manually?

Any help with workflow would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Kenneth!

    Nice rig! Loadsa Power there.

Ensure you have selected your NVIDIA in the Hardware I/O and away from your CPU.

I’ve always pointed to a Drive that isn’t my System Drive for Prerender Files.

    HTHs?

I did that. No download Instructions. If I go to Vegas 14 it is there but for my Vegas 17 it is not. I am not sure if it because I have Vegas Post suite.

Maybe, but I can’t think why that should be. Get in touch with MAGIX Support and ask?
