New uprez/resizer plugin?
I recently saw an article about a new (late 2011 or 2012) uprez/resizer plugin for AE. Anyone know what I’m talking about? I can’t seem to find it again.
It was not by Red Giant, and I recall it saying something about using some kind of new technology.

Neat Video just released it’s CUDA enabled version for CS 6. Maybe that’s what you heard of.

The plug I’m thinking of hadn’t been released yet, I think it was by a small company I’d not heard of. Anyhow, my fault for not deliciousing it when I had the chance!

This one has been around for a while but they recently updated their suite, so you may have been reading one of the new release docs.

Ah- thought they might be a bit too large to be the company you had in mind, but figured might give it a shot.

Come to think of it now, possibly the press release said something about them bringing Genuine Fractals/Perfect Resize technology to AE. But I’ve googled this to death and have come up with zilch so I am beginning to think it might have been some kind of daydream.

Any news on this guys? I’d love to find something of this type. I would imagine the great world of “internet” has come up with something. I’m running CC2014 cheers

AE now has the Detail Preserving Upscale effect built-in.
