New uprez/resizer plugin?
Posted by Mihai Wilson on May 24, 2012 at 3:26 pmI recently saw an article about a new (late 2011 or 2012) uprez/resizer plugin for AE. Anyone know what I’m talking about? I can’t seem to find it again.
It was not by Red Giant, and I recall it saying something about using some kind of new technology.
Thanks!

May 24, 2012 at 7:29 pmNeat Video just released it’s CUDA enabled version for CS 6. Maybe that’s what you heard of.

May 24, 2012 at 8:57 pmThanks Ted, thats not it but looks like a pretty cool plug anyhow, thanks for sharing!
The plug I’m thinking of hadn’t been released yet, I think it was by a small company I’d not heard of. Anyhow, my fault for not deliciousing it when I had the chance!

Sorry I have to add- on a completely unrelated note- Fantastic work on the Little Talks video!

Come to think of it now, possibly the press release said something about them bringing Genuine Fractals/Perfect Resize technology to AE. But I’ve googled this to death and have come up with zilch so I am beginning to think it might have been some kind of daydream.

December 10, 2014 at 7:01 pmAE now has the Detail Preserving Upscale effect built-in.
Red Giant has a decent plugin too.– The Great Szalam
