May 6, 2012 at 2:04 pmSteve, I have very little complaint with the software. It was working fairly well with all of the OFX that I use including New Blue and Boris products. I don’t know what changed with the upgrade. You would think the positives would go up not down. The Sony Creative forums have become nothing but a bash fest for the product and maybe there is good cause for that. Are the developers really biting off more than they can chew or is it just that trying to please everyone gets us all in trouble?

May 6, 2012 at 2:44 pmIm having lots of fun with Vegas and no issues whatsoever with
my current workflow (using Vegas 10). As i mentioned in a
previous post, if others are having Vegas issues, i approach
them as my problems. You then gonna have to revert to the previous version to get
your workflow back to stability Mike. Its not a matter of biting off more than what they can chew…
What really started the serious issues for most users is the
implementation of GPU/OFX/OpenCL etc support. It takes a lot of
re-engineering and code writing to get everyone playing nicely
together.Steve Rhoden

May 9, 2012 at 10:25 pmI’ll do that Edward. In the meantime when using transitions within New Blue from the VP 11 media generator tab I see a lot of artifacting. I’ll pass that info along as well. Thanks.

May 10, 2012 at 12:23 amEdward, try as i might i can’t get the program to crash again. Nor can i get the artifacting to appear as it did previous. Is there such a thing as a ghost in the machine? I’ll be sure to write that ticket when and if it happens again. Hopefully I won’t have to.

May 10, 2012 at 1:51 pmNo matter how many times the NewBlue Title Pro crashes(and that is quite often).I can see the huge potential in the program.. Especially since it is not only available for other editing systems but also cross platform… I am going to stick out the crashes until it is more stable. The benefits and price greatly outweigh the crashes…
