New Tutorial on Creation of 5-Bar Digital VU Meter
With the help of Andy Neil on this forum I was able to complete my 5-Bar Digital VU meter and now I’ve uploaded a tutorial on how it’s done. I had already done an easy version that simply had the audio modulate the spread of a mask over a stack of LEDs, but Andy showed me a way to make each LED pop on and off as needed like a real meter. Here’s the tutorial and it contains some nuggets about Color Range, color interpolation, and the lesson of not using any color but white for an object you intend to put into a Replicator and re-color.
