new toy time
Well, ole bessy finally kicked the bucket.
She was one tough workhorse. Made me some money and tought me alot about patience. Simply the crabbiest dang Avid I have ever touched in my life, including life on the road as a nationwide freelancer. I loved her dearly though.

On the bright side of things, Keene and John Connery Jr at Midwest Media Group hooked me up like towtruck with a

a new AdrenalineHD system with sapphires!
yeah thats right, I’m gettin an Adrenaline. I don’t hate it anymore. At least after milkin ole bessy all this time.
The cool fellas offered me an outstanding price I can’t repeat on a DS Nitris system and if it were just up to me, that’s what I’d go with but honestly, my workflow doesn’t require the cost difference. Matter of fact, I shot alot of HDV so Adrenaline is just a better fit. I’m lookin forward to tearin into it. The groovy Kane from Midwest Media Group will be in da house next week gettin me all set up and ready rock. While these things never happen at a good time, I told myself when I bought the symphony that if I got two years of use out of it (it was waaaay used) I’d be cool. I got three and was still pissed when it died. I was all like “nooooooooo!” in a bad horror movie as she went even though I knew that could be at any minute from the time I purchased it.
Go figure.I can’t say enough great things about Midwest Media Group. They simply aim to please.
