i just started the course on fxphd but i still feel a bit lost when it comes to what i can do and cant do when conforming edls exported from fcp. I have a project on my desk that is a mish mash of formats and frame rates. from 1080i 29.98p and 23.97p to 720 60p. I usually use apple color and more or less every thing falls into place, my cut appear to be actuate. Now i wish to use resolve but i would like a work flow that will work. do i have to convert every thing to 24 frames?
    please help

For now, try to use FCP to make your edit, do a one track edl and let Resolve do the conform.
When v8 comes out you can do your multitrack in Resolve directly.
