new to PP need a little help
I have become very proficient at Premiere Elements and decided to make the upgrade to CS4 (WOW..what did I get myself into..lol). Elements doesn’t have sequences. I understand what a single sequence is but not use to working with several different sequences in one project. Is it correct to say, when you are finally done with the project…you then bridge over to Encore to export your project and all the sequences follow in order? Also, before you do this.. 1. can you watch all sequences at one time (running your project from start to finish) and can you change your sequences around? Can you also put in transitions between your sequences to make the finished product look complete or do sequences have to be different chapters in a project and are straight cut?
In other words a little work flow help please…I have watched several video but can’t seem to find exact help!

Designate one sequence a “Main” (or something like that). It will be your main output.
As you probably noticed, each sequence you create shows up in the project window just like clips. You can drag and drop your other sequences into “Main” in whatever order you want them to appear. In fact, you can treat them like clips which allows for some handy effects processing.
Then, when you go to export, have the “Main” sequence selected and that will be exported.
