July 21, 2009 at 2:56 amOk, I think I may be getting closer. May! & all thanks to you.
Heres alittle more info about my sequence. All my source footage came as quicktimes 720×480. This footage as anamorphic. So in my browser window, I checked off Anamorphic for every single clip. (maybe this is where i made my first mistake? I should have just set the sequence to be anamorphic?)
Secondly, I got a DVD that I had to put through MPEG streamclip. Perhaps my 2nd mistake. I made that into a 720×480 quicktime.
But, I did what you said and Clicked on the Motion tab. The scale is at 75, the distort at 0. if I change it to 100(scale) and 12.5(distort) the picture takes up the whole screen. At this point, I can’t tell if it looks too wide or what not. Everything looks good.
Thanks for the link, im going to take a look at it now.
And again, thanks for all your help! Its much appreciated!
