    Hi All,

I’m trying to expand my skills by adding AE to my arsenal, I’m currently a Combustion user. I have three quick questions that you might be able to help me with:

Is there a way to view your comps from a custom perspective (3d view) and rotate around in the comp window as you are working?

Is there a way to easily replace footage or stills once they are loaded into a comp? (Switch one object for another)

Can you work from inside the project flowchart view, or is this just for an overview?

I appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks!

yes, under the active camera pull down -custom view (but the layer needs to be 3D first)

Yes, rt click on any file, footage, etc “replace footage”

This one I’m not so sure of… I don’t believe so, I think is just a graphical chart, but not a workable interface.

    Good Luck,

If you wanna change a file from a finsihed comp and u want to mantain all the properties and keyframes, u must select the itemm on the comp and then, drag the new file over it while u mantain the ALT pressed. That way, u will replace a file, for example to make a duplicate comp, leaving the ohter before the same.

I use it when i have to make diferent composition to make a render qeue in a row.

Hope that u can understand my english!!!

    😉
