“New Timeline” Greyed out?
Hey guys,
I’m completely new to Resolve, and have just installed DaVinci Resolve Lite.
I’m playing around with HDR footage shot using the magic lantern firmware from my 5d Mk III.
When I open the program I try to create a new timeline but the option is greyed out and the keyboard shortcut doesn’t work. I’m stumped as to how to get around this…
Has anyone had a similar issue? Know any fixes?Cheers,

Just came around the same problem with Resolve 12.5 and found an answer.
Thought I would share it.The New Timeline option is greyed out when navigating in the media page.
Switch to the Edit page and right-click inside the media pool and it will possible to create a new Timeline.However, it’s possible to create a new Timeline “from selected clips” directly from the media page :
Select clip, right-click and select “New Timeline from selected clip…”-30-
