As you guys may already know, Canon is going to release an ‘update’ of the T2i which is the T3i/600d.
Now I know for sure that the price of the T2i is going to drop. Anyone want to guess when the price drop may happen and how much it would go down, because I would rather buy the T2i than the T3i because they’re basically THE SAME! =))

    Thanks y’all!

Both the articulating screen and being able to control flashguns make the T3i a valuable upgrade for video and photo. That said, the T2i still retains value with all its “7D jr” features. I bet we’ll see a $2-300 drop in price.

Well…except that the t3i can do that cool 10x digital zoom…which is awesome when paired to a macro lens for awesome super closeups.

If you can wait I would get the T3i. I paid I believe $899 for the T2i with 18-55mm lens. I just checked Amazon and it is listed as $599. That is a gigantic savings.
