Major tutorials are being released this week. First, Mr Alexis Van Hurkman, who also wrote the Resolve 9 manual, just released its Resolve 9 training series on Ripple Training. This is a deep run-through of the software with 11 hours of tutorials to download for your iPad, iPhone Mac or PC. You can get it for 79$ by following this URL.

If your already know Resolve but would like to get an edge over the other self-tought colourists, here is what you might need. Patrick Inhofer, of FINI.TV and the Tao of Color grading, is launching his Grade-Along series. Patrick got a grading gig on a horror movie and decided to share the experience with fellow colourists. Subscribing to the “Dead Man’s Lake: The Grade-Along” is like having a weeks long internship with a professional colourist. You’ll learn all his tricks. Her is the link to Patrick’s Tao of Color:

And finally, I’m giving my second DaVInci Resolve class at the INIS in Montreal this weekend. This class is full but if you subscribe to the mailing list you’ll be the first to get the new dates. The classes usually fill in less than a day so hurry up! The class is usually taught in French but write to me if you’d like an English class, I already have a waiting list to fill one.
