New Question
Posted by José Leon molfino on May 9, 2005 at 12:56 amHow can I modify the curves of an animation path without modifying the velocity of a keyframe. I mean, I want to do something like After Effects keframes, where you have spacial keyframes and temporal keyframes… Does that make sense?

For example if you use a ‘align to spline’ tag and animate the position. This animation becomes the temporal and the spline itself is the spatial.

But when I modify the animation path (with the animation tool) in the viewpost, it also change the temporal curves in the “curve vew” window. Does that make sense?

May 11, 2005 at 4:01 amSticking objects on a spline is a good quick workaround, but if you want to adjust the velocity/easing of an object without messing up it’s spacial movement, try using a Time Track. it’s a little like using time remapping in AE…

I should clarify: the curves in the timeline and Fcurve thingy actually ARE spacial, not temporal, that’s why you need a Time Track, it’s purely temporal. Hope this helps.
