i created a project at 720×480 (4:3) frame size, but it was way too big when exported (2.1 GB!) so now i want to reduce the size to 360×240. I read that the only way to do that is to start a new project with the new settings and import the old project into the new. I did that but 1. the audio is all messed up, playing at half the speed; 2. it only shows the centre of the original video. I tried using the corner arrows to resize the video but it just gets bigger and smaller, always showing only the centre part of the video.
After i imported the video i just dragged “sequence 1” into the “video 1” space of the timeline. was that a mistake?
    Thanks for any help.

The size of your source frame has no impact on the size of your exported file. Go back to your original project and when you are ready to export, change the export settings to reflect the frame size you want.

    Cheers
