There is no mention I could see on whether this can handle ProRes, it says it’s DVCPro HD. Anyone know about this?

That’s right…it captures HD as DVCPRO HD. ProRes is strictly AJA territory.

Still, this is a nice lookng box, and has REALLY GOOD audio options. It is MOTU after all.

I read on another forum that MOTU is looking into ProRes support. It’s not due to be out for a while.

We’ve been talking with the product manager of this product at AJA. No mention of price yet. My guess is that it will be more expnsive than the IO HD and not have built in ProRes support.
Would be a cool box if it can do all they say it can do. We won’t know that until it ships, which I’m sure will be later than they expect.

There’s no HDMI Input like on the IOHD.
