I have this simple .wmv template i have always used to render videos for YouTube. Today I try to upload newly rendered videos and I am getting some serious pillar boxes no matter what I do, and this is the same template I always use!

Did something change on my end? I didn’t intentionally change anything.

    My source footage is 1920×1080.
    Render setttings are:
Video: 29.970 fps, 1440×1080 Progressive, WMV, 8.4 Mbps
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.333

Any ideas what could be wrong?

There’s a great app that works as an “extension”. I use it all the time. You can render your project and it automatically uploads it to youtube.
    It’s called “video4youtube”

You’re getting pillar boxes because your source footage is 1920×1080 yet your render settings are 1440×1080. Change the render settings to 1920×1080 and goodbye black bars.
