So B&H finally got the price right on the 32GB “budget” SxS card – $579

    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/665727-REG/Sony_SBS_32G1_SxS_1_32GB_Memory_Card.html

It was $799 since November. They also have a $200 rebate when two cards are purchased at the same time. That would bring the price down to $479 per 32GB.

If anyone finds it cheaper, let us know.

    Not so fast,
    If you read carefully….

“NOTE: SxS-1 media is currently only compatible with the new XDCAM EX camcorder models including the
PMW-EX1R, 350L and 350K models. A downloadable firmware upgrade, scheduled for release in spring 2010, is
required to enable SxS-1 media to be used in the PMW-EX1, EX3, and 10MD hardware models. The upgrade will be
available on the Sony Pro Media / Professional Hardware websites. Users that own a PMW-EX30 deck may need to
send their deck to a Sony Service Center for the upgrade.”

So most will have to wait till spring to use them.
