So I’m just getting started with both Premiere Pro (CS3, bought it before CS4 came out) and my Panasonic HVX200A camera.

I am unbelievably confused about how I get DV footage that I shot (in order to test both the camera and the NLE program) captured into the program.

Can someone run me through it step by step?

I’ve got a Windows XP, 32-bit system, Premiere Pro CS3 (updated to the last update for it), and an HVX200A camera.

Also, does it require FireWire or USB or can you use either?

Any help would be -really- appreciated.

    It requires firewire.

See the capture page for details.

Thanks so much! Several hours of online searching hadn’t come up with those pages. 🙂

That’s strange, they’re within the first ten hits when I do a search.

I’m glad you’re up and running again.

    Cheers
