New popup is it legitimate?
I have had a strange thing pop up on my PC which says it’s Sony Windows Installer Preloader which is ostensibly from Sony Creative Software. I’m automatically suspicious of any new pop up.
I have been using Sony products for as long as I can remember but I have never encountered this before. Is it something new or is it just yet another thing that started to go wrong when I updated to Windows 10.
If it’s OK does anyone need it or use it for anything?

I had never heard of it nor what it does or why. But . . . after some research on the Official Sony Software sites, I’ve got some Qs for you:
1] Have you recently installed or re-installed Sony S/W? And are you doing this after a newly installed Wn10 Install?
2] What version of Quick Time are you running? Is it the latest?

I was reinstalling every program after doing a clean install of Windows. Your comment caused me to look at this thing in more detail & I think it came from old version of DVDA which I have since deleted since I have the latest version installed.
As for Quicktime I have no idea.
