There is a checkbox for “Enable Final Cut Studio color compatibility” in Quicktime Pro general preferences.

It reads “When enabled, video is not displayed using ColorSync. Source colors are read with 2.2 gamma and are displayed in a color space with 1.8 gamma.”

Should this option be checked on or off. I am working with Final Cut Pro and quicktime video such as DV and HDV and ProRes.

Is this QT 7.2? I don’t see it in 7.1.6.

    Good find though.
