    I’m trying to import a clip for Motion but when I want to make a new motion project the correct preset is not there and i’m also not able to create the correct custom preset. The image is always getting cropped.

    The file is 1920 x 1080, apple proress 422, PAL, 25 fps

    Can anyone to tell me what resolution to set, what aspect ratio etc to choose?

    Have you simply tried using the “Create Project from File” button at the bottom of the Project Browser?
