New Media Express 3 beta 4 for Mac OS X now available
Hi,
We have just released Desktop Video 8.2.1 beta 1 for Mac which includes Media Express 3 beta 4.
The installer is now available from the support page on the Blackmagic Design website.
And Danny, a Windows version is really close now, we had some font issues with the Windows version and I wanted to make sure it was right before we cut a build, so sorry for the delay.
We look forward to everyone’s feedback.

Can it crop realtime now ?
Because this feature was on the black magic website ,
but now i have a the pro recorder it i can not find this function ?
It seems like the consumer version has more option ???Working on a setup to encode + 4000 VHS tapes …

Some media playback compatibility is broken since you guys moved on from ME 2.3.
I have few application outputting Uncompressed 8 bit and some files just stopped being accepted by new Media Express versions. I made two samples for you guys to test – just a few seconds of black, 50Mb each.
Both files are identical in mediainfo, but one of them won’t play back in media express 2.4 or 3 betas.
