  New Matrox Multi I/O

  Since this product has just been announced, perhaps it’s too early for anyone to be able to answer, but I just have to ask.

  The new Matrox Multi I/O board has four 3G SDI inputs. Providing I equip it with the appropriate RAID, would this card make it possible for me to live capture 720p ProRes from 4 HD-SDI cameras with my 8-core Mac Pro?

  (I have already posted this request to Matrox sales. I just wanted to get the opinions of the pros here.)
