I believe more specifically, it’s an OpenCL problem. Adobe users are having the same artifacts when rendering from Premiere on the new Mac Pro. Adobe allows the user to pick the rendering engine at export (software, OpenCL, or CUDA), so some have gotten around the issue by using software only to render….not an option with Resolve.

Hopefully this bug gets squashed fast!

    Hello,

I managed to create 3 videos capture screen to show you the problem.
Tested on R3D files 4K from Red One. Resolve 10.1.3.
Everything is downloadable with this wetransfer link :

You will see in Demo1 and 2 that the problem appears in Color page, Edit
Page and Render page and Render Result. In Demo 3, you will see the problem
in Color page but not in the render. I didn’t change anything between these Demo
1,2,3. The problem is that’s not constant. Sometimes it appends sometimes
    not.

Here is an other example of the problem that could show a GPU problem : https://we.tl/feP7gEEHG8

    Hi Robin,

You should consider a warranty replacement unit and see if it helps. It could be a software issue, but I get the feeling it’s a bad GPU or VRAM.

    Regards,
    Rohit

CUDA is Nvidia only. Open CL is the only option with those AMD cards.
