    Thanks for previous responses.

I’ve come down to two questions, as I’ve chosen the 17 inch model.

    1. Hard drive – 750 gig, at 5400 or 500 gig at 7200.
Will be installing FCP on the system drive, and media on an external. SOOOOO. Which is recommended by experience? I’ve searched through the archives, and not really found many threads. Will performance be better with a 7200 rpm drive? I know an SSD would probably be better, but cash wise, I’m not there yet.

    2. Screen – Anti Glare screen or not anti glare screen?

Please feel free to share your experience and opinions, thanks.

I’d go faster rather than bigger for the drive. Anti-glare screen is a personal thing which also depends on where you’re going to be using it, I have just the regular screen and I’m fine with it, although I’m usually using it where I can move around and find a position where reflections aren’t a problem (which is generally a room that’s been booked for me to work in or my dining table, but I can imagine situations where it might be more of a problem).
