New Macbook Pro 17″ & Motion

It’s the same videocard as the 15″ version which Peter says performs very well in Motion.

That’s about all we know.

I just came back from NAB where I used the new 15″ MacBook Pro and I was shocked how well it works with Motion compared to my 1.5Ghz PowerBook. The processor is an ATI X1600, and the realtime playback was actually realtime playback on this machine, even with a particle system, text animations with blurs, and chroma keying.
