    Hi,
I just bought a Mac Pro dual quad core 2,44 ghz.
Since it has the ATI 5770 card, reading the avid documentation it looks like it’s not supported. Apparently, only Nvidia cards are supported.
Does it means I can’t have hd monitoring? Does it means I can’t get fullscreen output? If I buy a Matrox MXO2 mini, do you think I’ll be ok.
Or do I have to buy a Nvidia card?

    thanks

Untrue. I am running MC5 on my ATI4870 card…just fine. You get a bit more RT if you use Nvidia, but ATI cards work fine.

You don’t use the graphics card for this. For that you need an external box, like the Nitris DX, Mojo DX, or MXO2.

That will get you output to a monitor…sure. And to a deck…yes. But lacking deck control. But it works fine…I use it myself.

    Nope.
